Prerana Sangani, MD, MPH

Founding Partner

Dr. Prerana Sangani has practiced deeply personalized, relationship-based concierge medicine in the Bay Area for more than two decades. Over the years, she has had the privilege of caring for entire families across generations.  This continuity has shaped her core belief that truly individualized, long-term health care can profoundly change a person’s quality of life.

Long before conversations around “longevity medicine” became mainstream, Dr. Sangani’s approach focused on prevention, resilience, and the long arc of health. She has always practiced medicine with an emphasis on staying well rather than reacting to illness - taking the time to understand the whole person, identify subtle changes early, and partner closely with patients and their families.   Concierge medicine, without time-restricted visits, allows for the thoughtful, proactive care she believes is essential for lasting health.

Dr. Sangani takes an integrative approach to care, focusing on the whole person - mind, body, and soul. She believes health is shaped by daily habits, purpose, and connection, and that lasting change comes from being truly seen and supported over time. Outside of medicine, she spends time with her husband, two teenage daughters, and their dog. She is an avid gardener who maintains robust summer and winter gardens- a practice that mirrors her philosophy of care: patient, attentive, and deeply invested in long-term growth and wellbeing.  Her belief that food is medicine extends into her own life and enjoys cooking for her family and teaching in her community.

Dr. Sangani grew up in Rochester, New York, attended Swarthmore College  and the  University of Rochester Medical School. After relocating to the West Coast, Dr. Sangani completed her Internal Medicine training in San Francisco, followed by a fellowship in Preventive Medicine at UCSF and a Master of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley. Her academic training continues to inform her evidence-based approach, with a strong emphasis on prevention, cognitive health, and long-term vitality.
